LEATHER CARVING PORTUGESE STYLE WITH GRAHAM RICHARDS

Leather carving isn’t as difficult as you imagine! With a few simple tools, you can begin to create truly customisable designs that will lift your work to another level. As someone who’s not a big fan of the American Sheridan style, I draw inspiration from other sources, such as Celtic and medieval objects. More recently, I discovered the rich patterns in ceramic tiles. In this session, we will begin to recreate a simple design from a traditional Portuguese tile (a simpler version of the one in the photo!)

Note - due to time restrictions your tile won't be painted however you will see a finished version to inspire your imagination.

Please note places are very limited so book early to avoid disappointment!

 The session will include all materials and you can take your tile away with you.
