Although we don’t have a traditional retail store you are welcome to visit our Stock Room where we have a wide selection of tools, dyes, hardware, books and patterns as well as leather in pieces, skins and hides. These work rooms are the centre-point of our daily business where we pick your internet orders and cut and process your leathers and as such we only open at select times.
The Store is currently open to our customers from 10am-2pm on most Saturdays. Please note that on some weekends we will be at shows and events so do check our website or telephone before making a journey. No appointment is necessary.
We can take afternoon appointments during the week from 2pm onwards, we generally need a day's notice. To make an appointment either call 01629 581403 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Click and collect - place your order in your usual way and let us know you wish to collect. We will refund any postage and will notify you when your order is available for pick up. Please allow two working days for us to process your order.
The Stock and Leather Rooms include a treasure trove of unusual and one off leather goods, skins and other interesting bits to look through. We provide a warm welcome and are happy to help you find what you need, however you may need to bear with us during busy periods.

The Identity Store premises are tucked away on a small lane near to the centre of Matlock, and very near to car parking and the train and bus stations. We are situated in an old stable block behind the main street off Dale Road and the track down to us can be a little steep and uneven.

Important No Parking Notice
Please note although we are unable to offer parking directly at the store, there is a Pay As You Go public carpark on Holt Lane (Location Number 807258) on the left as you enter the road - there is also parking at Matlock train station, a five minute walk away.
