In a contemporary setting the use of leather continues to have high end appeal. Beyond the aesthetic there are many reasons why using leather can be a practical choice...
- sound proofing - use in restaurants and members clubs helps to reduce echo and noise
- warmth - acting as an insulator, leather has a warm touch feel, helping to create cosy atmosphere and making heating more efficient
- touch - warm underfoot, textural and pleasing to touch, the tactile surface of leather has a strong link to our history and evolution.
- size - leather is easy to cut to size to fit any space, tiles can be made from small to large and mixed, without breakages
- durability - leather tiles are hard wearing, durable and can be used with underfloor heating systems
- decoration - the leather surface can be embossed, painted, foiled, coloured and dyed giving a variety of surface decoration options. The natural tones of the leather give a play of tonal colour even over one dye choice.

This leather has been made to stay firm and flat. It is a mineral based simple tannage with a large amount of wax impregnated to give it a solid but natural feel, without compromising on the beauty of the leather grain.
It has been commercially made and used for the luxury high end interior design market as leather wall and floor tiles.
Leather Tiles make for a decorative and hard wearing flooring, that long time wear and usage can even add to their appearance.
The tiles can be embossed into (under a heavy duty press), dyed, or painted to create a truly customised and unique interior design element.
Use for walls, floors, trays, placemats, inlay, mosaic
